Professor Nick Dunn was recently invited to contribute to the cultural platform Izolyatsia in the Ukraine. As part of his involvement with the organisation he co-curated an exhibition, Tomorrow's Cities Today: The Power of Urban Visions which was conceived and created to support the international residency programme Architecture Ukraine 2015 (Mariupol-Kyiv) and explores our visual representation of city design.
In addition, Nick also attended a major press conference to launch the exhibition and was also interviewed for the Kyiv Post, two local newspapers and gave a television interview with Nataliya Gumenyuk for Hromadske TV.
Nick also gave a public lecture whilst in Kiev, Intelligent Landscapes: Technological Drivers, Future Cities and the Art of Being Smart during which he examined the power of information for design decision making, Big Data and Smart Cities as technological drivers for change.
The exhibition runs from 23rd July - 30th August and is on view at Naberezhno-Lugovaya 8, Kiev.
