About Environment 2.0 and Cracks In The Pavement

Cracks In The Pavement is the website for Environment 2.0, a project exploring new approaches to environmental sustainability led by Futuresonic and the ImaginationLancaster lab at Lancaster University. Environment 2.0 was initiated in 2006 and publicly launched at the Futuresonic festival during May 2007 in Manchester UK with a conference event and a commissioned artwork from LoVid. The Environment 2.0 Workshop was staged in Lancaster during November 2007. An Urban Climate Camp invited forum takes place at ISEA2008 in Singapore, and Leonardo have issued a linked call for papers. Environment 2.0 will culminate in the Through Cracks In The Pavement exhibition at Futuresonic 2009.
