On 17th January 2012, 28 participants gathered at the Storey Creative Industries Institute in Lancaster for a one-day workshop devised, operated and facilitated by ImaginationLancaster. The purpose of the workshop was to generate ideas and construct a narrative around the arts in Lancaster, with a focus to exploring how the arts can connect with the wider community including local businesses, tourism, heritage, education and the public to raise the profile of the arts in Lancaster.
Participants included representatives from LAP, other arts organisations, Lancaster City Council, local tourism, and marketing and PR specialists.
The event generated a great deal of valuable content, which has been summarised in a report, which will be posted on this website soon.
