Lara Salinas Alejandre is a practitioner and researcher with background in art and technology, specialized in creative uses of locative media and social web. As a practitioner she has participated in a number of international festivals, outstanding TodaysArt (Netherlands) FutureEverything (UK), Urban Transcript (Italy), NewMediaFest (Germany) and Web Biennial (Turkey). She has worked in Spain, Colombia and the UK, where she is currently carrying out her PhD at The Creative Exchange, exploring the potential of the Digital Public Space to enhance lived experience of urban public spaces.
