Pam was appointed Project Manager for the Knowledge Exchange in the Creative Industries (HUB) in January 2012.Pam provides overall project management for delivering the objectives of the AHRC funded Knowledge Exchange Hub, managing and overseeing engagement with professionals and businesses in the creative economy as well as providing high level administrative management to the team. In July 2011 Pam graduated with a Master’s (MBA) Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration.

Pam has worked in the public sector for over twenty years leading complex projects, managing project colleagues, implementing targets with clear goals, allocating work, reviewing progress, and managing and preparing financial statements. As Project Manager Pam’s key responsibilities relate to the project management of the Centre as a whole (e.g. strategic direction, resourcing and planning, income generation, representing the Centre within the University and externally); knowledge management (including knowledge exchange strategies and targeted dissemination); direction and management of the research project within the Centre (including responsibility for budgetary control, contractual issues, project staffing and resourcing, research reporting/dissemination). In relation to Pam's role of Project Manager, she has intellectual interests relating to the development of knowledge management systems to support knowledge exchange of The Creative Exchange to a wide range of external audiences. Specific interests are therefore focussed on effective research dissemination methodologies, including the development of different types of research reports, newsletters, website, and other promotional materials.
