Keynote Speaker announced: Dorothy Mackenzie

We are pleased to announce that Dorothy Mackenzie, Co-founder and Chair for Dragon Rouge, will be a keynote speaker at the Design PhD Conference 2015.

Dorothy is a brand and innovation professional who has worked for the last 25 years at the interface between marketing, design and sustainability. She co-founded and chairs the London office of Dragon Rouge, a global design and innovation company working with organisations from leading multinationals to start-ups, helping them change and grow.

Through tools such as Brand Futures and Family for the Future, Dragon Rouge helps organisations to envision how they could be successful in a more sustainable future, identifying opportunities for innovation in product, service, communication and business model.

Dorothy has written or co-authored a number of books including Design for the Environment and Business is Beautiful. She is a NED of Carbon Trust, and a former director of Green Alliance and the Design Council. She has been involved in many initiatives around business and sustainability.
