On 26th March, the AB members shared their understanding of what Service Design is (key words) and described their contributions to the field in terms of research areas and research activities. Cluster of key words related to Service Design were about: Change – doing things differentlyHuman centred approach, Collaborative and inter-disciplinary ways of workingCo-creating valueSystems – understanding the big pictureLearning by doing.

They also identified and mapped out people/organisations and projects that are related to and relevant for Service Design Research. Emerged themes overlapping with Service Design core activities were: social design and social marketingsocial innovationpublic sector innovationdigital services and open innovationdesign for sustainabilityinnovation and design policyservice management and innovation studies.
