Lisa is a Lecturer in Design whose research explores how design can contribute to developing more sustainable ways of living. Lisa is particularly interested in how design education engages with sustainability and has developed methods and tools for supporting design students to challenge dominant, potentially unsustainable eco-modern values. Lisa welcomes PhD proposals that seek to broaden understandings of design for sustainability beyond eco-modern concerns, especially those concerned with investigating how the philosophy of technology can inform design for sustainability.
