In total, 28 individuals from local businesses were invited into the redesigned space. In one-hour consultations, authors then tested the algorithm to re-design the consultee spaces, including retail and office space. Consultees agreed that the method significantly expedited their re-opening efforts, increasing profit as a consequence and providing a safer space for workers and customers.
