The IDEAS for Impact project is offering all academics and researchers within FASS the opportunity to attend a half-day workshop on creative facilitation in research. The workshop event will focus on practical tools and techniques, developed by IDEAS and ImaginationLancaster, for collaboration, engagement and co-design in the research process.
Participants attending the workshop will be provided with an overview of the creative facilitation approach used within ImaginationLancaster, and the tools for collaboration and engagement produced by the IDEAS project.
In outline, the workshop will include:
- Overview of engagement and co-design in existing research in Imagination.
- An introduciton to creative facilitation tools.
- Experimentation with existing tools and participant needs.
- Giveaway of tools to participants.
About IDEAS for Impact
IDEAS for Impact is project to help Lancaster University academics undertake high impact, excellent research. High impact research and engagement have become important in academia. IDEAS for Impact is a cross-university HEIF project led by ImaginationLancaster.
We want to use our research on knowledge exchange and human-to-human interaction to help academics and non-academics work more effectively with people outside the university, with a particular emphasis on SMEs.
