I was invited as a speaker for an Industry and Parliament Trust event at the House of Commons on 21st November to discuss enhancing the UK economy through immersive technology. The other guest speaker was Nick Earley who is head of UK content regulation policy for Meta which provided an great contrast of perceptions in relation to immersive tech. The event was chaired by the MP Dr Rupa Hug is vice chair of the metaverse and web 3.0 All-Party Parliamentary Group. The audience was made up of members of the APPG plus invited guests and in our discussion we managed to cover a range of issues relating to technology, regulation, infrastructures, content etc and was very enjoyable.
