On 26th March, the AB members shared their understanding of what Service Design is (key words) and described their contributions to the field in terms of research areas and research activities. Cluster of key words related to Service Design were about: Change – doing things differently, Human centred approach, Collaborative and inter-disciplinary ways of working, Co-creating value, Systems – understanding the big picture, Learning by doing.
They also identified and mapped out people/organisations and projects that are related to and relevant for Service Design Research. Emerged themes overlapping with Service Design core activities were: social design and social marketing, social innovation, public sector innovation, digital services and open innovation, design for sustainability, innovation and design policy, service management and innovation studies.
