ImaginationLancaster presents innovative international urban health research at

the International Symposium on Urban Health and Wellbeing in the Asia-Pacific Region!

Improving health and well-being for cities, requires addressing the demographic shift related to an ageing population, the epidemiologic shift from infectious to noncommunicable diseases, and climate change, which is both changing disease patterns and quality of life.

The Symposium was co-organised by several international research bodies on urban health and wellebing, including the Institute of Urban Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the International Society for Urban Health
