Words can be doves or bullets, choose wisely.
Exploring creative ways towards more equitable engagement and knowledge exchange between design researchers and the rest of the world as part of my role and also my PhD.
While I bring my years of experience of creating trust and equitable relationships with organisations, my current role on the Design HOPES project also allows me to explore and build on my creative writing skills to share stories of sustainability challenges and successes to assist our researchers and NHS Scotland towards effective change for our futures.
I love connecting with people, listening to their challenges, and understanding if and how research can help them get where they want to go. I play with words to make sense of research and to create new thoughts, ideas, and stories.
Beyond work I dance around the kitchen, attempt to learn Italian, destroy monsters in a future Earth, and try not to kill numerous plants. Know where your towel is, the answer is always 42, live long and prosper.
